Warren Buffet pans Hillary/McCain gas tax holiday

Warren Buffet and Bill Gates were on FOX Business network this weekend.
Their Political leanings and the gas tax came up.

Warren:
Every time diesel goes up it helps the rails versus the truckers.

Interviewer:
You know You got both of the candidates, the democratic candidates, whom you both support...I believe, saying possibly..  they are talking about the gas tax, and you've got John McCain who has said 'give the gas tax a summer vacation'.. Your thoughts on that?

Bill Gates:
Well first I haven’t declared any political preferences.

Warren:
All we know is he isn't voting for Ralph Nader.  
(Group laughter)
I'm not even sure of that either..
No We.. don’t make any assumptions on Bills politics, but I'm declared as you've heard me before.
I don't think it makes sense to take off the gas tax for a given period of the summer.  
We probably should have been taxing gas more these days, and maybe there should have been some compensating to some degree for poor people. But the idea that you take away the gas tax for three months does not make any sense to me. If you think it’s the wrong thing to have you get rid of it permanently, I don't think it's the wrong thing to have, but to get rid of it for three months doesn't make much sense.

Certainly sounds in line with Barack's plan..
